Upgradation
SharePoint 2010 is vastly used in most of the organization as compared to SP 2007 and 2013.
Most probably Microsoft will come up with direct upgrade option from SharePoint 2010 to 2016 without migrate through 2013.

SharePoint Patch
Microsoft already started to update the SharePoint patch through Windows patch. It would help SharePoint admins to install the patch in easy steps.
SharePoint patch through Windows patch can be installed and this process started from Feb 2015. One of a link is available here . It is again recommended to install the Service packs through manual steps by SharePoint admins unless and until the issues are not reproduced at their end.
We believe this SharePoint server patch update will continue in SharePoint 2016 as well. Again the same will be confirmed in Ignite event on May 2015.

Infopath in 2016
InfoPath feature was depreciated in SharePoint 2013 but as per news InfoPath will be a feature in SharePoint 2016.
There might be some chances to have new additional forms in SharePoint like InfoPath.
